[edit] Sound

  • Sound configuration did NOT work out of the box at the end of the install. When I tested the sound driver FC7 seemed to pick up, it failed. Will try alsa-config and system-config-soundcard.

Strangely enough when I did a system-config-soundcard sound worked! This is the exact same program that gets run at the end of the install. There may be an issue with the installer itself that caused it not to recognize the sound during firstboot. Sound appears to work out of the box, it's just that there's some sort of glitch with the firstboot sound configuration.
